Bio
My name is Jeremiah Van Hatten, and I’m the owner of Airtight Enclosures, a building science small business based in Central New York. Since 2010, I’ve specialized in diagnosing and solving complex building performance issues to help clients achieve safer, healthier, and more energy-efficient spaces.

Experience & Training
I began my career in building science with hands-on training at Camroden Associates, working under industry leaders Terry Brennan and Mike Clarkin. Over the years, I’ve conducted blower door testing on more than 100 buildings, including:

Cleared through extensive background checks for classified and sensitive projects, with expertise in single-fan residential and multi-fan commercial testing. Experienced in air leakage investigations using infrared cameras and theatrical smoke tracing. Over 15 years in building science, specializing in diagnostics and blower door testing, and more than 25 years of carpentry experience, offering practical insight into construction challenges and building performance issues.
